1:40 – Minella For Me – 7/2 @ Paddy Power or 3/1 – Gen – The 9-year-old was runner -up here over 2m 3f, 55 days ago. Has won after a short lay off in the past and looks worth a go at 3m. Trainer in form and the selection can go close.
4:30 – Magic Dragon – 11/4 – Gen – The selection made a winning handicap hurdle debut in the first time cheekpieces at Sedgefield 27 days ago. Up 5lb and if the drop-in distance doesn’t inconvenience, he looks the one to beat.
2:25 – Cloudy Glen – 2/1 @ William Hill – The 6-year-old has won both his starts over hurdles, both handicaps, this season. Back in novice company and looks set for the hat trick.
3:35 – Johanos – 8/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Trainer Nigel Hawke had a welcome winner this week and the selection has a good chance of giving him another win. The 8-year-old is one of the least experienced in the field of staying handicap chasers but he looks on a winnable mark. Very lightly raced for his age this will only be his 8th start under rules. He won two hurdle races on heavy ground in March 2017. The selection was then off the track for 637-days when returned to make his debut over fences at Newbury 55- days ago. He ran a race of promise and his mark of 125 looks very workable.
