killing time

A nice result yesterday for the Wolverangles, we had a few mails from readers who bet and won and a couple that had the Bungle Bay/Vizzavona Lady double which paid over 40/1 at SP.

We do have racing at Wolverhampton again today but there is only one 7 furlong handicap with a small field.

If I was betting I would probably go with the favourite, but none of the angles David uncovered really apply.

The factoid (RIP Steve Wright) I'm looking at today is horses that wore headgear last time (but not this time).

I had this on my list as a positive factor at sharp courses, thinking of Catterick, but I don't see a bet there.

So I thought I'd have a look at Leicester for that angle, not sharp, but I looked anyway and it seems it is a small positive.

That got me looking at Sierra Blanca in the 3:50, which is well tipped by the papers, but after a look at the pace maps at Geegeez I won't be having a bet.

So the lesson for today is sometimes you spend your time looking and come up with nothing, that's how it is.

Sierra Blanca will come back into form at some stage and may well win today but it won't effect my balance either way.

Good luck with all your bets today, back tomorrow.

All the best
