Grand National Selection

We need a big Saturday if we have any chance of emulating the big Cheltenham profits.

Yesterday neither selection made it home, although Handstands was not to blame being badly hampered by a faller.

For the Grand National Steve will be sending out our official selections later this morning, I don't know what they are yet, but Platinum members will receive an email shortly.

Personally I have  7 selections in my portfolio that I have backed and because I always back the free tips I share that is now going to be 8. If any one of them wins I will come out with about a 60% ROI on the race, if I get a win and a place then happy days.

I've left out the favourite, which may be a mistake but 6/1 for the national is too short for me, especially having to carry 11st 12lb!

So Brett Love has three in the National none of them are in my shortlist, which shows you how open the race is and probably why you shouldn't follow my 7 horse strategy.

Meetingofthe waters came cantering in it last season yet got messed around by a loose horse at the last which did for him in part but he was only 7 then and returns as an 8 year old (good record nowadays) so on better ground also, should see it out better and carries a ‘Rough Quest’ weight of 10st 7lb
