JOB Dominance

Just how good was Ombudsman yesterday? He produced a sublime performance to go back-to-back in the Prince Of Wales’s.

It wasn’t to be for Victory Gold unfortunately, but Saeed bin Suroor has his two other runners for the week today with Dubai Future in the Gold Cup and Mountain Cat in the Hampton Court at 5.35pm…

Legacy Link looks the one today for the punters in the Ribblesdale at 3.40pm. If she runs her race, she should win, but is a short price to do so.

I was also surprised to see Trawlerman hit 4/1 for the Gold Cup, but he’s shortened all morning, which is correct.

I want to highlight another trainer and that’s Joseph O’Brien. He has had runners in 4 races at Royal Ascot so far this week, winning 3 of them and finishing fourth in the other.

That is a ridiculous record.

He’s got a lot of runners to come, but I thought Dial Me In was a big price in the King George V Stakes at 3.05pm today. Up in distance, first time in a handicap, James McDonald book to ride. What’s not to like at 25/1?

Good luck on what looks like a tough day on paper.

Alex
