Interesting question about the Daily Racing Brief arrived last night.
Yesterday was a losing day by the way and I guess that's what prompted the question.

During the proofing period how many days were profitable and how many were losing.
I handed this question to an AI along with the proofed results.
And got a good answer and some marketing advice!
Across 50 days of racing (1 June – 20 July):
29 profitable days / 21 losing days
That's a 58% profitable day rate – more winning days than losing ones, which is a solid figure to use in the sales copy alongside the strike rate.
So the headline is there's more winning days than losing days.
My follow up question asked about the longest run of losing days…
Longest losing run was 4 days (13-16 June), losing a total of 12.42 points across those four days. That's a very manageable drawdown – worth mentioning on the sales page as reassurance that even the worst patch was short and modest.
I double checked and saw that there were actually winners over those 4 days but the days all finished with a negative return.
My final question was regarding longest run of winning days and surprise surprise it came right before the losing days.
Longest winning run was 5 days (8-12 June), banking +15.36 points across the streak. Nice contrast with the worst losing run – 5 days winning vs 4 days losing, and the winning streak was worth more than the losing one cost.

Readers who joined Tangoman yesterday didn't get a winner on their first day. No, they got two winners 🙂 Have you ever joined a service with great results only for it to go on a long losing run? Of course you have, we all have! That didn't happen to the 100 people who joined the…
Every time we run a tipping competition we uncover some amazing talent. Our summer competition is drawing to a close with three contenders who have shown a positive ROI in each of the three months and all with decent strike rates. Not withstanding a late surge the winner is expected to be either Connect 4…
Time to stop talking about the golf, my bets are on and personally I'll forget about them until Sunday night. But fans will no doubt want to follow every up and down. Today there's a lot of moans about the new format at the Racing Post, not a huge problem for me cos I'm a…
We are nearly half way through the month so a good time to see how Matt Russell's July Micro Systems are performing. And it's good news again. For readers of the free magazine the systems have produced a healthy +16.91 points profit to Betfair SP for just a few minutes work each day finding the…
Thanks to everyone who sent messages of condolence yesterday, there's a lot of caring people on this list. A few things to mention today. Hopefully you've noticed that racing starts with Nottingham at 10:30! First up I want to remind you about the tips we post on Facebook each day, these will become a paid service…
I've been thinking a lot recently about the leader in our tipping competition, The Raiders! The up to date profit for this one tipster is 208.43 points profit from March 1st up to Sunday night. The stake on every bet entered has been 1 point win and 1 point to place. The ROI is 93%…
