– Identify weak races, a lot of the wins we've had this week have come because there was only one good horse in a very weak race.
– Know your track and draw biases, this is something we cover a lot on the magazine, every time we identify one make a note
– If you want to know how a horse is likely to perform you have to watch it run, watch as much racing as possible
– There is value in short priced selections, the benefit of betting at the head of the market is that you collect more often and we are less likely to quit on a profitable strategy when the losing runs are so short. The 60% strike rate Paul is achieving is great for confidence
– A sensible compounding staking plan is the way you build your bank and achieve worthwhile profits starting from a low base.
