April Tipping Competition Update: New Leader Emerges as the Final Furlong Approaches
As we thunder down the home straight in our April tipping competition, the leaderboard has taken on a fresh look, and there’s a new name just edging its nose in front.

After a strong burst of form, mh-selections has surged into the lead, nudging past long-time pacesetter Gordo. It’s been a tidy run of results too, boasting a 50% strike rate and an eye-catching return on investment north of 64%. A sharp performance by any standard, but as any seasoned racing fan knows, timing is everything.
Now here’s where the plot thickens.
While mh-selections currently leads the field, there’s an important condition looming large over the final standings: a minimum of 30 selections in the month need to be submitted by the entrant to qualify for the competition. At present, the new frontrunner has logged 24 bets, meaning the job is not yet done. There’s still ground to cover before the winning post.
Hot on their heels, Gordo. remains firmly in contention with a far heavier workload already under the belt, 89 bets and counting. That level of activity, combined with a healthy ROI of 57.45%, keeps them very much in the race and arguably in a stronger qualifying position as things stand.
Further back, Connect 4 and Chasemaster are tracking the leaders. Connect 4 has been particularly industrious with 147 bets placed, while Chasemaster continues to deliver solid consistency with a strike rate above 43%.
Elsewhere, Thoma’s tips has posted respectable returns, though they may find themselves short of time, to mount a serious challenge.
Of course, not everyone has enjoyed a smooth ride this month. A few familiar names have struggled to find their rhythm, with several competitors sitting in negative territory and needing something special to turn things around before the curtain falls.
So, as we approach the final furlong, the key question remains:
can mh-selections press on and meet the qualification mark, or will Gordo, grind back into pole position with experience and volume on their side?
One thing’s for certain, this race isn’t run yet. 🏇
