So of course the problem with narrowing down a long list of selections is that you might throw out some winners.

And that is what happened with our long list of heavy going selections yesterday.

I passed on winners at 12.61, 8.24 and 2.1.

But I would rather be more selective and bet at decent stakes than bet a long list at smaller stakes.

All three winners were trained by Paul Nicholls by the way.

It was a winning day overall for me with Smart Value Tips delivering a winner at 10.13.

Today there are seven on the heavy list, all at Kelso and I'll work my way through those this morning.

Another one I'm looking at for today is Dare To Shout in the 3:00 Kelso, this has been highlighted by the 20% Club research that Steve shared in the latest magazine.

I will be having a bet on Dare To Shout, further research this morning will decide the strength of that bet.
