We are due one of these big ones landing soon, but 1/5 odds on 110/1 is still 22/1!

Grand National

So who is going to win the Grand National.

Things to consider…

1. Since the fences were changed in 2013 the race now suits horses that jump through the spruce, it's no longer an advantage to clear them cleanly.

2. Horses need the stamina to maintain a high cruising speed all the way round

3. Exclude horses that unseated, fell or pulled up last time, statistically they do not win this race.

4. Horses that finished in the top 6 last time out produce a solid place strike rate, in fact in the last ten years no horses that finished 10th or worse last time out has won.

5. Older horses 10+ are 0 from 151, exclude them

6. The sweet spot for days since last run is 16 to 90 days

7. We are looking for three or more runs this season.

If you fancy one for the big race check how they figure on the above before having a bet.

For OCP Platinum members Steve will be sharing our selections later in the week.

if you'd like to upgrade to Platinum membership you can do that here oncourseprofits.com/upgrade

Good luck with all your bets today.

All the best
