Over the weekend both the PGA and DP World Tour hosted events which for us couldn’t have been more contrasting. On the PGA at the Zurich Classic our selections missed out but at the China Open we landed the winner, Bernd Wiesberger (adv EW 40/1), the 2nd placed along with the 4th, 5th and 8th placed golfers.
Overall, the weekend delivered +66.20 points profit and the 2025/26 season to date has smashed through the +500pts mark with overall gains of +542.58 points profit.
More of that will do just fine.

Pontefract
There's racing at Pontefract this afternoon and I know something useful about it.
It's killing me not to just tell you.
Pontefract has one of the more reliable draw biases in British racing. In certain race types and distances, where a horse is drawn in the stalls has a significant effect on its chance of winning — more than most punters realise, and more than the market tends to price in.
This month's magazine covered the best draw biases on the British flat in detail. The Pontefract analysis — which draws to follow, which distances it applies to, and which race types it's strongest in — was in the Platinum section.
I made that call because the edge is real and sharing it with thousands of readers would move the market and spoil it for our Platinum readers. That's the reason Platinum exists.
But if you're heading to Pontefract today, or betting on it from home, I don't want you going in blind when I'm sitting here with the data.
So here's what I'll say: low draws at Pontefract matter. Not just in the shorter races. That's the free version.
The full picture — the specific distances, the strike rates, and how to filter it down to the bets actually worth taking — is in this month's Platinum magazine.
If today's card at Pontefract has you curious, that's exactly the kind of thing Platinum members wake up knowing.

The Dan's Shorties glitch I mentioned yesterday is still there, a fix has been promised by lunchtime!
All the best
