I’m gonna take the price

The long journey for Exmoor yesterday paid off with a comfortable win.

It was all a bit of a rush yesterday and what I didn't realise when I mailed you was that Smart Value Tips had also tipped Exmoor the night before when the forecast oprice was 10/1.
I've not heard from anybody who managed to get that price but a couple of members have reported securing 6/1.
Smart Value Tips also had Aim For The Bull which was 12/1 when posted and returned 8.84 BSP.
I have been betting the Smart Value Tips selections at BSP, it's been avaeraging 100 points per month profit at BSP so it seemed reasonable, but I'm starting to realise that I'm leaving money behind because a lot of these are shortening and with Exmoor yesterday if I had got on when Martin sent the bets I would have made 5 times as much on just that one.
I was going to share a Travelling Profits selection today but they don't have anything.
Martin has four on the account at Smart Value Tips as well as a 66/1 mention that I can't resist a very small bet on.
I'm going to share a big one which is 28/1 with the bookies and 70.0 at Betfair!
Wednesday Feb 25 18:40 Kempton Bronte Beach 0.50 Points Win & Place (Betfair)
18.40 Kempton – Class 5 4yo+ Handicap
My final selection of the day comes at Kempton, where there’s an intriguing trainer–jockey angle involving a handicap debutant.
Tomorrow’s selection comes from the yard of Archie Watson — Bronte Beach, an unexposed four-year-old filly making her handicap debut, ridden by Jason Hart.
What makes this interesting is that Hart has only ridden for Watson nine times, the most recent being back in December 2024. From those limited rides, he has recorded two wins and one placed effort, with one of those wins coming on his sole ride for the yard on a handicap debutant.
It’s admittedly a tenuous statistical link, but it’s a slightly unusual booking — particularly as Watson’s regular rider Hollie Doyle is also in the race, instead partnering an outsider from the yard of Mark Usher, a stable for whom she has a modest record (1 win from 23 rides).
Another small angle: Watson has had just one runner making a handicap debut in a Class 4 Handicap at Kempton in the last five years (back in January 2021). The numbers aren’t as strong as I’d typically want for a main selection. Sometimes when the bookings look a little different, it pays to take note and there are enough quirks and angles here to suggest Bronte Beach is worth a small each-way play.
We actually had somebody cancel their Smart Value Tips membership yesterday, after just four days of membership, a service that has proofed over 100 points per month profit since September 1st and is the best service we've ever had and that I've ever been a member of 🤷🏻♂️
All the best
Darren Power
