Which half is wasted
John Wanamaker once said, “Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don't know which half.”
That quote came to mind this morning as I was reviewing my bets. Most of mine are at odds against, so by definition, more than half will lose. And yet, the right ones still make it all worthwhile.
