Heavy going at Hereford
No joy with yesterday's selection and it was a losing day across my portfolio!
Today I thought I'd remind you about Matt's research in the latest mag looking at trainers and jockeys who perform well on Heavy going.

The going is Heavy at Hereford today.
Olly Murphy has a 21.74% strike rate with all his runners on Heavy or Soft to Heavy and over the last 8 years backing them all would have given a 16% ROI at BSP.
Murphy has three running at Hereford this afternoon.
In the 3:00 he has Kentucky River and Loro White. Neither look like a bet I expect to make.
In the 4:33 he runs King John Oliver, who I would fancy under normal conditions, but who has never run on Heavy and there are a couple with Heavy experience including Kel Du Large who has won on Heavy.
Maybe the fact that Murphy has a good record on Heavy is enough to make his a bet at 11/4 I don't think I will be betting.
But wait, just checking the research and Kel Du Large is trained by Mrs Jane Williams who also features on Matt's list with a 23% strike rate and a 68% ROI when the going is Heavy or Soft to Heavy.
I've taken 5.2 on Betfair on Kel Du Large 4:33 Hereford.
