New year, same game — just played better
Every year starts the same way.
New year. New you.
Review. Reset. Improve.

And in truth, nothing really changes in how we should be betting. The fundamentals don’t move. Discipline still matters. Value still matters. Bank management still matters.
What does change is the landscape.
Markets shift. Angles get squeezed. Data improves.
Prices contract in some places and drift in others.
Which is why adapting — without abandoning sound principles — is so important.
Personally, I’ve always gravitated towards shorter-priced selections. I like a high strike rate. I like seeing winners most days. It keeps confidence high and the bank ticking over.

They make the journey tolerable.
And the occasional big-priced winner?
That’s what actually moves the bank forward.
Different roles. Same goal.
New year. Same game.
