Trainers and Sires
The approach I’m sharing with you in this article is an angle that has been on my wider radar for a number of years, indeed some of you reading this piece may have picked up a free guide that I released at the start of November covering this exact method (although not the same angles... so definitely worth your while reading this article as well!) ...
Basically, what I’m looking at here are five National Hunt Trainers and then pinpointing the sire(s) that they know inside out and a have a strong recent record at getting their offspring winning and placing on the racetrack...
Certain trainers just know exactly how to get inside the mind of the offspring of certain sires... they know what makes them tick and they know where and how to position them to get the very best out of them...
Now, it’s worth pointing out at this juncture that although I will be presenting the stats in an angle/system style format, it’s not necessarily an approach I follow in such a way...
You could do that if you wanted to... there is nothing stopping you from doing that... but I personally prefer to use the data I uncover during this process as a guide or a pointer...
For example, if I see a certain trainer sending a horse over hurdles for the first time and I know that trainer has an excellent record with the same offspring when saddling them on hurdle debut, then that’s a big indicator for me to look closer at the horse...
…it’s a solid tick in one box and a robust confident booster for that horse’s prospects...
As always, flexibility is a key factor to keep in mind when sourcing, investigating, and following these angles... if you are too stiff then you just might miss the juiciest of juicy fruits...

Jonjo O’Neill can really get a tune out of the Fame And Glory offspring and the overall stats are very pleasing on the eye on their own. Notable Fame And Glory offspring for the Jonjo O’Neill yard since 2013 would include SOARING GLORY and COEUR SEREIN...
Fame And Glory sadly passed away in 2017 but he still has a good amount of his offspring on the go and doing the business for him, with a number of them stabled at the Jonjo O’Neill yard...
