Not that one
I've got a mate called Notty.
His real name is Peter Jones and when we were kids we called him PJ.
But. then Dragons Den started and for a while he was Peter Jones Not That One!
Now he's just Notty, it can get very confusing for newcomers to the group.
I've got another friend called Plum because he looked like a plum when he was a baby.
Anyway Notty reads the OCP mag and he paid particular attention to the Sean Trivass article in the December issue about trainers who have their horses ready on debut.
The implication being that some trainers have better schooling facilities or processes and are more likely to win with their debutants.
Notty has been entering the selections he finds from this research in our tipping competition. He hasn't won but he's been in the top three every month since he started in December and his total to date has been 67 bets – 24 wins a 41.21 profit at BSP after commission and a 42.59% ROI.
Every month has made a profit.
There are two running today, but unfortunately they are in the same race the 4:25 at Leopardstown they are Find A Fortune and Strutter
You can read the original article that produced Notty's profits here…
