Ride Like A Girl won for us yesterday and when one wins comfortably like that it's not unusual to question why I went each-way for my bet.
The thing is sometimes getting a return is more important than maximising profit.

Losing runs are what kill most punting ambitions, people can't get through a long losing run and often give up on a winning strategy because it hit a losing run.
That's why I always have a high strike rate strategy included in the mix of what I bet.
That might be going each-way on a bet that I think will win, as insurance, even if it is just money back for the place.
Or including short priced favourites in my daily bets.
