There's a few things worth taking on board.
The one worth mentioning today is the Covid SP Quirk.
Matt Bisogno gives the full story in the PDF but basically SP used to be decided by on course bookies, taking account of all the bets on course from the fivers and tenners of your having a day out punters, to the big bets of on course pros.
But during covid the SP was calculated by the big bookmaking firms and still is.
It's calculated by those big bookmakers who won't take a bet from anyone known to win!
The outcome Matt says is that there is now less value at the shorter end of the market, on the favourites, and more value on the outsiders.
