Waiting for winners! One inside 🤞
Thanks for everyone who mailed in to tell me the service I was referring to was called Waiting For Winners.
Recap: It was a service that followed newspaper tipsters and bet their selections when they matched or were close to their longest losing run with the idea that a correction and a winning run was due.

I guess it did what it said on the tin.
Does anybody remember if it was profitable?
I feel like it an idea that could be applied to lots of sources of selections, but that the source has to have a positive expectation in the first place.
Not many newspaper tipsters are that, although they are judged on industry SP, maybe at Betfair SP or early prices many do better.
If the source of winners is positive anyway maybe just straight bet them all.
Moving on.
Today I have a tip from a new service which has proofed four and a half months of outstanding profits.
The headline is 300 bets and 501 points profit.
Platinum members who bet these to £10 stakes will have averaged over £1,000 per month profit so far!
Smart Value Bets has two for today the first goes in the 1:45 at Fairyhouse. Here's what Martin told members…
First one is Declan Queally's Bal Kauto in the 4yo+ Handicap Hurdle. Queally has an excellent 5 year record in this discipline with horses having 1+ run for both the season and in Handicaps.
- January record : 19r 4w 12p (2 runners both placed at Fairyhouse)
- Fairyhouse record : 8r 2w 6p (2r 1w 2p over tomorrow's C&D)
Horse returns to hurdling after 3 runs over fences, twice being ridden to one win and a place by tomorrow's apprentice jockey Michael Kenneally. Bal Kauto has shown some excellent form over both obstacles and despite a rise in the ratings, I expect a strong showing.
I was also drawn to Patrick Foley's Verdant Place in the same race as stable is in fine current form and would've actually been my selection. However there is a glaring negative with the trainer having a remarkably poor record with horses wearing headgear. Verdant Place wears first time cheekpieces.
Foley's record is 159r 4w 23p in all races in all types of headgear. First time wearing all types of headgear 46r 0w 5p!!! In Cheekpieces – 35r 1w 2p and 14r 0w 1p in first time cheekpieces. As these figures illustrate I cannot put up a selection with any degree of confidence based on those stats!!!
13:45 Fairyhouse Bal Kauto ~ Win & Place (Betfair)
If you would like immediate access to the second selection which goes in the 3:50 at Newbury you can join Smart Value Tips here - https://memberarea.co.uk/join?id=860
All the best
