I’m stepping in while Darren is away this week and I’m fortunate that it’s for one of my favourite weeks of the year!
Royal Ascot wastes no time and starts the meeting with the quality that it means to go on…

Will Notable Speech make it third time lucky at the meeting in the Queen Anne? I’m not sure, there’s plenty of talented opposition queuing up behind him in the market.
Aidan O’Brien has the top 2 in the betting in the Coventry – oppose him at your peril!
The Aussie raider, Overpass, bids to make it 3 from the last 5 in the King Charles III for the land down under.
Bow Echo vs Gstaad round 2 in the St James’s Palace.
It’s a great day and the bet I’m most keen on comes later in the piece and it’s Map Of Stars in the Wolferton Stakes at 5.35pm. There's a good bit of 9/1 knocking around at the moment.
His recent form figures of 735 don’t exactly bring much inspiration. However, those runs have all been at 12f. His 10f form is far better, with wins up to Group 2 level, a couple of Group 1 runner-ups and a fourth behind Ombudsman in the Prince Of Wales’s here last season. I’m banking on the return to this distance working the oracle today.
I’ll be posting all my bets on the Pep’s Big Race Tips service (which you can access below) all week if you want more of what you’re reading.
Hopefully your Royal Ascot gets off to a winning start!

Betting all my adult life, firstly at the greyhound track where my dad was a trainer more recently horses.
A fan of systems based betting which I've been practicing and writing about since 2004 which was the last time I had a real job.
A couple of things to talk about today but first off my schedule for the week. Tomorrow the new issue of the magazine is out so I'll send a reminder about that. With no racing (UK & I) after today until Boxing Day, I don't expect to be mailing on Wednesday. On Christmas Day we…
The Pontefract bias didn’t go our way yesterday and was a big loser on the day for me. The only bright spot of the day was that The Postman service I recommended had another profitable day. I also had a win on the football from a short priced service we are proofing that had a…
We only managed a placer at 50/1 last week on the golf and a loss on the week. If you like playing at big prices and winning in the long run try Win Big Golf here - https://www.oncourseprofits.com/sales-page/win-big-golf/ Racing System I was chatting to Pete at the Ten Pound Tipster yesterday and he mentioned a simple…
After mentioning Options Trading the other day reader Gez suggested I read The Turtle Traders I started reading it yesterday. I'm not far into it yet but this quote chimed with me… Trading is a zero-sum game… … No trader can profit without another trader losing. Betfair is a zero sum game, if we disregard the…
Ride Like A Girl won for us yesterday and when one wins comfortably like that it's not unusual to question why I went each-way for my bet. The thing is sometimes getting a return is more important than maximising profit. Losing runs are what kill most punting ambitions, people can't get through a long losing…
[[EXCERPT_START]] Hopefully you paid attention on Satuday as Alex nailed it with Heletenham which returned 20/1 SP 28.45 Betfair SP. Made my day!
