Trainer Pointers for The Cheltenham Festival
In this month’s article I’ve looked at a few trainer pointers for The Cheltenham Festival.
Before I get onto that… if you’re reading this and fancy owning a share in a jumps horse, to go racing from April through to October, do check out my Racing To Profit Syndicate at the link below. There’s all the information you need to make an informed decision. We have a lot of fun, and maybe you’ll consider joining us. As I type, we still have 10 spaces left, to kick off from 1st March. There’s no feeling quite like owning a winner…find out more here…
To Cheltenham…
First up you can find a table of all those trainers with 2 or more winners at the previous five Festivals.
There have been 140 Festival winners in that time, and it may come as no surprise that Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliot (inc Denise Foster) have won 57 of them… that’s 40% of all Festival races in the last five years.
Messrs Mullins, Elliot, Henderson and De Bromhead have been responsible for 60% of all winners, from 30% of all runners. Clearly you can do a lot worse than focus on those four Festival powerhouses. Following the table below you can find a few angles for ‘the big four’.
